I need to know which of these companies in their respective catagories is better.

Video Card: GeForce 2 Pro 64mb

MSI or PowerColor?

CD-RW: 12x10x32

Teac or LiteOn? Also considering Gold Star, Mitsumi, and Ricoh.

Somebody please help an idiot out!

i can't answer your question about the CDRW becuase i've had no experiance with any of those brands; but as for the Geforce-it's more a mater of included software than hardware.

Msi would be my choice of the two, They usually provide a better fan/heatsink combo-as for the drivers, you should use nvidia's own reference drivers and not the ones provided by the card manufacturer ( who usually take nvidia's reference drivers and add unneeded features ).

Another good choice would a Leadtech or Hercules brand.

wish you the best on whatever descision you make. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hello Mr Idiot, http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif

Since I imagine you already have some CD Writers Picked out by Price....

Out of that list you made Id pick Mitsumi 1st then LiteOn or Teac next

If its an option for you, Id go with Yamaha or Plex instead of any of those....

Good Luck!

Ricoh isn't a bad choice either...

And I apologize for the following off-topic stuff...

Aware...where you been hiding? How was the move? Email if you get a chance...
