I have some problem with my computer. It's running very slow at boot up screen. I'm wondering why it's like this since last time it was not! The running process bar below the Windows Logo will go for at least 15 rounds now compare with last time, 3 rounds only. I just formated my pc recently because of hard disk corruption. But what I think is, a reformated pc supposingly should not running slow at boot screen. Supposingly...
Here is my computer components:
Asrock mother board 775VM800
Pentium 4 3.0GHz
512 MB DDR400 + 256MB DDR333
GeForce MX 440SE
Hope someone can help me, thanks.
If the problem started immediately after you formatted the HD, then make sure all hardware drivers, including those for the MB chipset, have been installed.

I had installed them properly, except for the NVidia driver because I lost the driver CD. Its driver Windows can detect it itself, for additional I did download the NVidia Control Panel because last time I also have it in my computer before I lost the driver disc and reformated my computer.
My computer run smootlhly when I just finish the reformatting process. This problem occrur after I done all of the installation including put in games and documents. Shall I post a HijackThis log file here?

You could post it but before doing that I'd go into Msconfig(start-run-msconfig), look in the startup tab for new items that weren't there and delete. Then reboot.

I did it just after I reformated my computer. I always choose to close and stop some useless application start running automatically at Windows start up, whether set it at msconfig or 'service' at computer management and by both if necessary. Anyway, I'll post my computer HijackThis log file tommorrow morning. Thank you very much. :)
