Also If you press the scroll wheel inward ,
Then move the mouse around you can scroll the page without moving the wheel.
Press the wheel inward a second time to turn it off.

Some of those tricks depends on the type & settings of the particular scrolling mouse you have installed (except for the first one, none work on mine).
But that zoom in and zoom out feature works great. It's one of the coolest tips I have read in a long time. THANKS!

P.S. For more useful tips, check the Tips page at: http://www.pcmag.com/tips
Actually it depends on the drivers you have installed.
In Winxp I have the ms ps/2 mouse plugged in my PS/2 port and only installed the default XP human interface driver .
In device manager it is still listed as PS/2 Compatible Mouse
All the above features work
I didn’t even open the cd included with the mouse..

Actually, think it depends on how the page is set up whether or not that will work all the time. I think if the page uses cascading style sheets (CSS) and the point size for the font has been specifically defined, it doesn't work.
Here.. changing the subject slightly. I came accross this article. Are we paying toooooo much for vision correction?

Blind dog,
Welcome to the PC Guide forums!
This is an old post from 2002, may be better to post a fresh thread rather than post into an old one? You can use a link to the old one if desired to make a point.
