View Full Version : Blue screen error msg Dell Inspiron 9400

Hi guys,

I am newbie here :) requiring some advice for my new dell inspiron 9400 I bought about two weeks back. After installing some driver for hardware or installation of some software is causing windows to crash to a blue screen, which says that a driver or software installation has caused this error and windows must be rebooted. It happens suddenly and once in a while. As I was not sure, what driver or software it was I did a system restore but still I get the error.

Any kind of help will be appreciated. :(

Umm...quit mucking about with it and use the warranty. Even if the driver is just not installed correctly.

I thought the warranty is only for hardware related issues, should I mail them my problem then ?

If you've done a full restore...and you are still getting a driver error message it is very likely to be a HARDWARE problem. So, yep...drop them an email or the 800 number.
