I got a tnt2 m64 and am planning to upgrade to a ge force 2 chipset. Basically, I've narrowed it to 3 choices: the Hercules 3d Prophet with ge force 2 mx400 (32m of ram), a Winfast version of the ge force 2 mx400 (also 32m) or....... a "Pandex" ge force 2 mx400(64megs of ram). The hercules is about 150 (can money) and the winfast is like 120-130, and the Pandex is 110-120. Which one should I get? What would the difference be between the Hercules and the Pandex? They both have the same chipset, I can always get the drivers online, and the Pandex has more memory. Which one should I get? The cheaper "no named" brand with more memory, or either of the brand names with less memory? Oh, and I'm running on pc 100's, if I take them all out and replace them with pc 133 will my motherboard automatically configure itself to run at 133 or will I need to do bios/mboard jumer stuff to run it? It is based on the via kt133 chipset and the manual says it can take 133's. How will I know if the memory is running at 133? Is there anyway to check through win 98se or something. Thanks for reading this long redundant post.
