I'm building a PC for games and the net. With a tight budget this is the way I decided to go...

AMD athlon 1.3mhz 266 FSB
Abit KT7A-raid
256MB ram pc 133
32MB geforce 2mx-200 with tv out.

My question is has anyone heard that the KT7A-raid has compatability issues with the geforce card?

I was told this and wondered how accurate it was, as I can't see how the most widely used card would have issues with a M/B.

Cheers man. I think I might go with a Diamond Viperii 32 meg 4x AGP. I have an old diamond viper 550 on a Pii 350 and it's been great.

Might stick with what I know eh...

That sounds like a decently specced system , except for the graphics card . The Geforce2 is really going to hold back the rest of the system and create a huge bottleneck in terms of speed . Your post says you are on a tight budget but you really should consider shelling out a bit extra for a card that compliments the rest of your system ie. a Geforce Pro at the very least or an Ultra if you can stretch that far .
My spare computer is a 1Gig Thunderbird running on an Abit KT7a with a GeForce2 MX and I've never had problems with it
