I work in a small office with 5 systems networked through a linksys router. Through the guidance of the mighty ones on this site I eventually downloaded Panda Titanium (Budfred I believe)
As great as it works the only thing I have no experience in getting around is... how to allow our network to communicate without shutting down the firewall protection. Our router has a firewall built in and our EX tech guy told us all we needed was the Firewall from the router... BUT there are so many horror stories out there... In addition I've seen plenty of threads here that suggest you have more than just the router's firewall up.
I tried messing around with Panda to see if you could enter the ip addresses to allow through but I can't seem to find it.
Do any of you have experience with this sort of thing? Where I can leave the firewall UP and allow emails to come in and go out without shutting it off?
