Can anyone suggest a wireless router?

I work in a school and have broadband internet in my classroom and 7/8 laptops. It is a pain because when they want to use the internet they have to crowd around a desk that can only fit 3 people. At the moment i can connect 4 computers to the wired router i currently have. What i would like to do is buy a wireless router and adapters that will allow the pupils to have the laptops on their desks. Does anyone know what type of router i would need that would work with my broadband in school It works through a proxy server. Can anyone suggest any wireless routers and adapters or any other way i can set this up.

For the router, I would suggest is to speak with the school network administrator and see what they say and or suggest.
As for the wireless adapter, I would suggest any USB 2.0 Wireless Adapters with at least WPA security.
