Some of the dealers in my area are trying to sell the Asus P5PL2 motherboard to me for my new rig. I've tried to find reviews but there's nothing really out there. Why is this board in limbo?
The other board that's suggested is the Intel 102GGCL and Asus P5PL2 (which is more expensive).
What I'm looking for right now (don't laugh) is just something to play Half LIfe 2 and Civilization IV without a hitch, and still have some capability to upgrade components in the near future.
I've been told a Geforce 7300GT would be enough for me in this case as well.
Can anyone please make suggestions/recommendations? I'm really a newb at this.
