Having enough knowledge to get myself into trouble, but suspecting that it is possible... Can I use a cheap Wireless Router to make a range extender for my present wireless network?
Right now I have the Wireless LinkSys VoIP router that comes with Vonage. I noticed that FutureShop has cheap wireless routers for sale (like $10 after rebates). I have been shopping for a Range Extender and like the idea of the Linksys, since my network is all LinkSys right now (VoIP box and Xbox GameLink); but the LinkSys Extender is $150+ in my neighbourhood, looking for a cheapo way out.
