Alternatives to Alienware?

I'm looking for some alternative gaming laptops from alienware- alienware does look cool, and they have their alien ice thingy, but it seems they may be just a bit overpriced, I don't know, I'm not that experienced with PC hardware. Anyone have any links?

What's the approximate budget? That is probably the biggest factor, especially considering that Alienware laptops can run upwards of $5000.

You can look around on the net--my friend recently bought a Gateway laptop that performs not bad with FEAR. Aquamark score was somewhere around 48 or 49 thousand, I believe. Not bad for only $1300 CAD.

I'm really not considering money right now, just interested in seeing what else is out there because I probably won't be getting anything in the near future.
