Hello All! Upgrade advice on dv2000t....intel 950 or nvidia 7200?

Hello all, I have decided to bite the bullet and ask for help. Im sure people on this forum have more knowledge than the sales representitives i have dealt with.

1 GB ram
intel pro 950
At my door tommorow

$25 dollars more and a 2 week wait

I dont play a whole lot of games but would like to have the option. The most important aspect is battery life (to me).......will the nvidia 7200 suck more juice?

The Intel graphics will do jack squat when it comes to games. The nVidia laptop will be your best bet if you want to do ANY gaming. My laptop has a 5200 in it, and I still get upwards of 3 hours from it.

I'd go for the second one. But if you need the laptop now, then the first one will be your best bet. But for 25$, why not?

The GeForce Go 7200 model does not have its own dedicated RAM - it uses main RAM just like onboard video. So it's not as good for gaming as a fully dedicated vid card, but I agree that it's a lot better than the standard Intel onboard video. At least it's a separate GPU.
