Set up for a T1 line

My girlfriend is moving into an apartment that has a T1 line. Right now she has cable modem.....

What do I need to do to get her set up on the T1 line?

The first thing is to look at what the place has setup.
If it is ethernet hardwired or ??

Then contact the manager and ask if anything is needed for login and or encryption

If she has a NIC already installed in her system.
It may be just a matter of plug in and boot up
If it is wifi then you will need to set that up.

Without knowing all the details .
There is just no way of answering your question

Places that have a T1 line coming in have a router that connects the T line. You are connected from your room to the router over a standard ethernet cable. Sharing 1.5MB over a whole apartment building is probably very slow.
