USB Ports?

Hi,
I have a Gateway 4542GP Laptop and for some odd reason my USB ports are messed up. Some devices won't read on a port but read on another and one doesn't work at all. Help?

Check the power management settings for the USB ports, remove the USB deivices in Device Manager and re-add them...
