Targa Ultra AN64 3700+

All details specs can be found here Targa (http://www.targa.co.uk/index.jsp?SID=0&NAV=236&DOC=&PAGE=&PCAT=2&PROD=206&PTUBE=10&PARAMS=undefined&PARAMS2=undefined&SPCAREA=undefined). I have install XP Pro+SP2 on it instead of XP Home Edition.

My Pc auto shuts itself down without warning me the never restarts itself. just shutdown.

What is causing this i know, it could be a hardware error i think i do have one, with the firewire socket just waiting for engineer to come and fix it... What other problems could it be if its not the firewire socket?

Does it shut down a few seconds after starting, a few minutes after starting, does it run longer than a few minutes, or does it shut down at random intervals?

So is it actually going through the shut down process or is it just dying?

If it is just dying, it is propably your power supply. Check in power options in the control pannel and see if there is anything about shutting down after 1 minute or anything like that.

the powersupply..... is all ok i think its jst the heat... I was playing WOW and it just shutdown 2mins ago and was encoding a PSP movie earlier on and it shutdown half way thru both WOW and encoding!

So it got to be the heat or hardware problem?

I recently had XP Home Edition on it and moved to XP Pro could the OS be the problem??

Could also be a RAM problem. This can be tested with memtest86, available at www.memtest86.com.

This depend on the area you are living at. If appearance of sand storm very often, have to make your cpu more protectable :)
OK, usually I'll clean mine about 2 months once. But my cpu casing is actually openning, this different if you have a total enclosured casing. Buy more fans, plug at the casing that has holes on it, especially behind of cpu. And then blow the wind out but not suck in. Try to have the filter as well if you can find it. Plug it just along with the casing fans if you have it.
