Sometimes when beginning the booting, don't move from the booting logo.. stays loading(the loading bar still moving). I need to restart the machineand, but it's too slow the booting.
I have a DFI land party, socket A 2800+, PATA, and boot faster than this new pc.

Any idea???
TIA

Start it in safe mode to see if it's software related. (press/tap F8 as you start the PC until you get to the menu which allows SAFE MODE to be selected)

I think I found the problem, I have two HDD, one SATA 160Gb with SO, and the another one PATA 160gb Master at Primary IDE, DVD-RW Slave at Primary IDE.

when I disconnect the second (PATA) my SO boot really fast. exists some incompatibility between these interfaces?
