SONY PS2 repair? Split Post

While trying to fix my PS2, my boyfriend ripped out the power ribbon. It seems to be unharmed, is there any way to reattach it? Thanks.

Is it an actual power ribbon with conductive leads embedded in a thin plastic sheet? If so, it's extremely difficult to get those back together. Unless it broke off at the base, in which case you may be able to reattach it with careful low-heat soldering.

No guarantees, though. ;)
