KPL0809381 - Pipeline 1

Doing a search on http://compaq.com , I came to this (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&dest_page=product&product=311395) page.
Hope this helps

Thanks anyway, but so did I. If you look closer it doesn't have jack s***. Only a generic install/upgrade guide and some drivers.

It has been a while since I used Compaqs site but,.... things still seem the same. You will need to find the actual serial number on the case, enter it and you should have all the info you need on that machine. The page I linked you to simply provides a start point for all of this, including instruction on how to find and enter your serial number ;)

You will need to find the actual serial number on the case, enter it and you should have all the info you need on that machine. There is no place for S/Ns' when doing a search through HP. I did find out the model number through a on-line chat session (that took awhile).
There is NO info available other than some generic how-to guide which is close to useless.
The key term "should" doesn't apply here apparently.

The VIA KT133 chipset was only capable of supporting the 200 FSB. Support for the 266 FSB came in the form of VIA's infamous "A" revisions - the KT133A chipset.
Off-hand, I'd say the T-bird 1.2/200 is the most likely to work, although there's no guarantee for an OEM machine.
