I want to know what everyone thinks is the best motherboard. I'm interested in boards that support 1.4 GHz athlong cpu's with DDR support. Also, I'm looking for ease of overclocking.

Celeron II 633 (66 x 9.5)
Intel 82810 chipset
15 GB HDD
128 MB SDRAM

I have read and owned an ABIT motherboard. They are supposed to be great boards for overclocking.....

I personally have an Abit BH-6 motherboard and it`s perfect for overclocking. The only problem with that board is that as far as memory slots are concern, you only have 3 dimm of a maximum 128sdram per dimm for a maximum memory capacity of 384sdram...it would of been nice to put a 4th dimm .

For the ease of O/C the Abit Soft Menu system does a great job.

Beats fooling with Dip Switches.

Luck.

I know you're looking for DDR and Athalon but:
I built a new system last month with an ASUS P4B. I have had no problems and it performs like a champ. I have a 1.7Ghz P4. I got this board because it takes a P4 478pin and I can use SDRAM Dimms. It also has a standard power plug (in addition to the P4 plug) on the motherboard, so you don't have to worry about having power supply with the P4 power plug.
It's easy overclocking. I really think it is one of the best out there.
