One thing comes to mind.
If it works don't fix it.

I like IE 5.5 because it has Print Preview; I don't see anything in 6.0 that makes me want to run it instead. I keep current with the Windows/ IE updates in the belief they improve security and stability (well, I can always hope). http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
5.5 SP2 does offer a couple of security updates, 6 has built-in cookie managemnt. I think I'm sticking with 5.5....I like and I have a half-way decent third party cookie manager.

Thanks for the translation, mjc. "Internet Explorer 6 supports the Platform for Privacy Preferences (P3P)..." = Cookie Management

6 closed the door on a couple of virii that are lurking around with security updates. Nimda, etc. As they were/are affiliated with MIME.
So I gave it a shot. Works for me.
Luck.

I installed IE 6.0 tonight; so far, so good. The (default) Medium setting for cookie management seems effective for what I want.
I found that when I place the cursor in the upper left corner of a .jpg picture, icons pop up for saving/printing/sending. These options are also on the menu when you right-click anywhere on the .jpg image; kinda handy.

I've been using IE 6.0 ever since it came out in Beta with no problems. As ranchdog says, it fixes those pesky security holes. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hey,
My vote is IE 6.0. Have it on four machines with nary a problem.
