I just inherited a CD-RW, but have no software to run it. I am mostly going to use the burner for data CDs. Any recommendations for relatively simple CD burning software programs?
Thanks.

Do google search for nero. Pretty good burning software and free trail. If you like it you can buy it. It works for me. EZ CD Creator is another one but you have to buy it, and I have had problems with it. Best to you!

Nti and ez cd creator4 for me was the best. Nti i was best for music and ez cd creator was best for data, but the new 5.0 ez creator, or platinum is the best i think for all

As i recall the local Wal-mart was selling a CD burning software package in their PC section called either CD-Simple or something to that effect for around $20.
Try Completely free software (http://www.completelyfreesoftware.com) , i believe there are some free cd burning programs available.

corybear88: Just be sure before you buy, if you do purchase software, that you check and see that your particular CDRW model is supported. When I bought my Sony, I thought that if I didn't like the software, I could buy another program that would work on my Sony and my husband's HP. Turned out that none of the above mentioned programs supported both our writers when I checked the software sites.
