woi ppl was up i was readin some article somwhere.....i cant remembr now dat u cud upgrade d speed of ur AGP slot speed from 4x to 8x....i wanna kno how u cud do dat somone if u can plzz tell me how or som cuz i really wanna kno.....i already upgraded my proccessor from d original 550MHz and now i'm runnin a Tualatin......quite good actaully so my nex target is to get d AGP slot up to speed......so if yall kno neting can u plzz help tanx!!....
If I can understand what you are asking...considering how difficult it is to translate what you have posted into something resembling normal English...you are asking how to increase the capabilities of your AGP to go from 4x to 8x.
Simple BIOS or othe software upgrade is not going to do it. The speed/capabilities of the AGP bus are determined by the chipset, which can't be changed, as it is soldered to the motherboard and the layout of the board itself is designed around the chip.
Short of some obscure hardware hack that may only work on one specific motherboard, and then only if you do it 100% correctly...it can't be done.
A link to the article you mentioned would be nice...to see exactly what they were talking about...

BUy a 64mb Nvidia TNT2 Pro AGP on eBay. That's what I did, (32mb though), and it works flawlessy on the same computer. You cannot increase it from 4x to 8x

kool tanx i'll try and get d article for u to read......if i cud find it....but back to d graphics card i d 64mb nvidia tnt.....i was tinkin bout dat but i saw a CONNECT3D Radeon 8500LE 128mb......is dat gud cuz i really wah kno.....it's a 4x speed card.....
