Hello,
I have a Compaq Towercase with only two filled up 5.25" slots. I would like to change that to a bigger towercase?
Is that possible.

The only problem you're likely to run into is that Compaq uses propietory sized hardware, including the motherboard. You may be able to get it to fit into a standard ATX case-i've done it with a couple, but not without some grunting and swearing! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gif

I ripped out the motherboard in my Presario 5724 and haven't had any problems physically fitting standard mATX/ATX motherboards in it (but that's bigger than yours is).
Here's the hassle: if you want the back sealed, you're going to need a new I/O panel because the Compaq's is proprietary (at least mine was). Bigger hassle: dicing and splicing the wires for the power and LEDs. (I thought I knew what I was doing, but lost the HDD indicator.) You'll need connectors to fit the header pins on your new motherboard.
My advice: Find a good deal on a case with power supply. (Compaq uses the bare minimum for power.) Newegg is currently offering free shipping on the Fong Kai FK320 (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=7&manufactory=1432).
If you've got room for it, I don't think you can do better than these cases (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=7&manufactory=1502). I forget the Chinese name of the actual case manufacturer, but these are also labelled Antec (listed under Enermax at Newegg).
(I've got an Antec SX1030; same case with a 300W Antec supply.) AMD Athlon Recommended Power Supplies (http://www2.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_869_1039%5e1053,00.html)
Oh, I re-read your post. (I'm hungry; that's my excuse. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gif) You're staying with the motherboard, so the I/O panel will probably transfer to the new case OK (duct tape might help). My Presario board was wider than the average ATX mobo, so you'll want a biggish case.
