Update message on Corel 12 Draw Suite

Everytime Corel 12 opens a very obnoxious update box comes up and there is no startup entry I can locate to turn it off in the program or in the usual registry locations.
In control panel there is a update settings box and a google search says there should be a way to kill it there but when you open the box nothing is readable.
Wierd.
Before I try to uninstall does anyone know if this program has a repair function or better yet a registry hack to kill that darn box?

Someone who can read a HJT log could probably tell you which registry setting listed to eliminate.
