ok can i apply the same command from the command prompt for my pen drive, 'coz i don't have a floppy drive?

But as to you question...a big, MAYBE!

Some systems do allow USB devices to be treated as bootable...most don't. If your system does, you need to set it as such in the BIOS.

You can install SBM to the HDD or make a boot CD emulating a floppy - but for the latter you would need an iso containing SBM which you can unzip from http://www.iol.ie/~krakowangus/sbm/sbmiso.zip (http://www.iol.ie/%7Ekrakowangus/sbm/sbmiso.zip) and burn to a CD if you so desire.
