Firefox on the desktop is the full browser.
Firefox Portable Edition allows Firefox to be run from a USB flash drive, CDROM or other portable device on any Windows computer or Linux/UNIX computer running WINE.
Firefox U3 is set up to use the 4MB U3 Launcher to open the application, the launcher will be shown as a small CDROM drive. This is cool in one respect, there are no files saved to the host PC when this is used and removed. This application is only for Windows 2000/XP however.
