Windows messenger problem

Hi Guys, wondered if anyone could help me.
I am running Windows Messenger...........so is my brother.....my webcam is working fine...his isnt! Cant get his cam to send live images.

looked in the help files and the following comes up......Show My Video as Picture-in-Picture is selected.

To stop sending your video image, click Options, and then click Stop Sending Video.

Problem being, there is a tick in the *Stop sending video images*box.....that he cant remove......is there a way around this.....thanks very much.

I think! Delete and re install, but others may have different ideas! Plus the fact that msn have been upgradeing of late!
