Firefox has released the latest version:
Items fixed:
MFSA 2006-64 Crashes with evidence of memory corruption (rv:1.8.0.7)
MFSA 2006-62 Popup-blocker cross-site scripting (XSS)
MFSA 2006-61 Frame spoofing using document.open()
MFSA 2006-60 RSA Signature Forgery
MFSA 2006-59 Concurrency-related vulnerability
MFSA 2006-58 Auto-Update compromise through DNS and SSL spoofing
MFSA 2006-57 JavaScript Regular Expression Heap Corruption
and the ever popular "Improvements to product stability".

Please note their servers are getting hammered today, the auto update is a smaller file so using that method can keep some traffic off the servers.

Also noted Thunderbird update to 1.5.0.7 as well.

Hammered?

I think ./ has less of an effect...

I think 'meltdown' would be closer to what's going on...I'll check back later.

Working much better tonight, just downloaded the whole thing and installed on top of the old. (yeah I know, but it works!)

Mine auto-updated. Really, I don't notice much difference between these 1.5.0.x versions.

Most of the updates have been fixing security holes or things like memory leaks.

I've noticed that it behaved much better in FlashChat at 1.5.0.6 than it did with earlier versions...
