I'm planning on building a new computer:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 processor
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 mobo
2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) memory
256MB Geforce 7600GT
DVD±R burner
250GB 7200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s hard drive
Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro
a couple of case fans

I plan to do some overclocking, but not too much. I was wondering if 500W was enough. Thanks!

500W is enough. But more importantly make sure the PSU is of good quality. Like Antec or Thermaltake. I would rather have quality 400W than a cheap 500W. Have look at Saphalline's sticky (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?t=47399) for some suggestions. I would recommend the second Antec or higher as budget allows.

Also make sure it has at least 2 +12v rails and a 20+4pin or 24pin main connector.
