Because I have a need for speed and a need to do several things at the same time, I have decided to build my own machine and would like to use four processors and run them either separately or together. Is this possible? Can I tie two processors to a motherboard (K7?) and still run separately or all four at the same time? There is a great deal of math in what I do, so time is of the essance.

Four CPU'S? Use a Tyan Tiger Mboard and settle for two AMD type MP processors.

Time is of the essence... Processors and memory deal in nanoseconds.

Ranchdog:

Thanks for the info. I am trying to tie Catia, Mathmatica and Invention Machine together in order to form a seamless R and D process. When you have these three buggers going at the same time, things can get a bit sticky. Only time will tell if it is successful. No...the air isn't too thin...at least compared with Loveland Pass or somesuch. Thanks again!
