I can't seem to be able to delete some of my email to the deleted file box.Does anyone know what the problem could be and if so what is the fix.It would be greatly appreciated.

Stupid question I know. But are these mails open when you try to delete them. (I talk from embarrassing experience)

You could try compacting your Inbox folder before attempting the deletion; (File Menu >> Folder >> Compact all folders or else select the relevant folder and then just choose Compact Folder).

If that fails and you have nothing in your Inbox that you want to keep, close OE and find and delete (or rename to Inbox.old) the relevant Inbox.dbx file from the OE store folder. The path to the folder is given by Tools Menu >> Options >> Maintenance >> Store Folder. A pristine new Inbox will then be created when you next start up OE.
