I would be grateful for any help here.
I've posted this in this forum as I do not think it's a hardware issue(tho it might)
Story so far
I have a machine running windows XP and office XP
My hard disk is only 10GB so I plugged in another(2GB) for extra storage.
However I have virtually filled both drives up so a friend has given me a 20GB disk which I want to use instead of the 2GB one.
The problem is as follows
I plugged the new disk in and got that reassuring message bottom right of screen "Windows has found a new disk drive"
However it does not appear in "My Computer"
It does however appear in device manager which says it is disk 1 and it is working fine.
Any hints / ideas would be very welcome.
