Outlook issue

I am running Windows 2000 and I just double click on Microsoft Outlook (shortcut) but nothing happened, what do I do? I appreciate any help given.

yes, to no avail. Do you have any other things I can try. Thank you for helping.

Check in task amanger and end all processes relating to Outlook. Sometimes one will be running in the background which prevents it from opening.
