I like Galeon better. Its faster and comes with a Google search toolbar, but ita based on the same engine. In fact, the two browsers share the same Java plug-in file.

IE, netscape, etc... are all basicly the same engine-Mozilla. They are all nice, but i think i'll stick with Opera (http://www.opera.com)-still the best one for my " money ". http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif

I'm interested in Mozilla. The only bad thing I can think of that I've heard about it is that it's bloatware. True?
I'm with you, iisbob, I can't imagine I'll use anything more than Opera at the end of the day. I've gladly given them my money for Windows and Linux versions.

I've been using k-meleon for some time which is also based on mozilla, but is very slimmed down. It has built in pop-up killing, multi-language support and is FAST...another nice thing is the "cleanness" of the interface. You get much more bang for your screen space with k-meleon...
Opera is nice, but I never fell in love with it...truthfully, I use IE more than anything else. It works with everything and even if it's slower than some other browsers, it runs ok on a 1500mhz system, so I don't worry too much about that.
As far as security is concerned, I have two firewalls (one software, one hardware) and I run AV software. Plus, if you're really concerned with security, you'd probably be using Linux http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/tongue.gif
