I used to use wireless LAN. I then changed into wired LAN because computers are near to each other. My problem:

The WLAN card now seems to get stuck with previously given IP address. I have 2 WLAN card slots in my laptop. The one on top was used before with ip : 192.168.1.15, the bottom one was not used. I deleted the properties used by teh top one already and also change the local ip range, but the previous ip used by teh first slot doesn't seem to go away. I insert my card into the second slot and sure enough teh first one's ip is configured, hence an error message pops up for contradictory ip use.
Any ideas please, I am new to wireless ?
Thanks

There are multiple ways to erasing what was written in memory. People do that always.
Did you try lookin it up also in the registry ?

Did you try lookin it up also in the registry ?It'snot a fact. The solution to this problem might be as simple as a deletion of previous dial setup.
only erasing the options chosen and password in the setup dialog box is not enough.
