I got a "bundled" copy of something called "Cyberlink DVD Solution" with the video card in my new build. I assumed it was crap, but what the heck, might as well try it, right? So I burned 3 ~30 minute .avi's. All 3 files play fine on the pc in Windows Media Player. And what do you know, they all play fine on the dvd player after burning in Cyberlink as well. Except they're UPSIDE DOWN on the screen. Guess I've either got to turn the TV over or stand on my head.

At least the AUDIO plays forward.

I just noticed the files are even OPENED upside down in the program (has a preview function, didn't use it at 1st because it never occurred to me it might burn the files upside down). All the .avi's are inverted, but mpeg's & .vob's are not. I've burned a lot of dvd's, never seen this before.

Hahahaaa!! :D I'm laughing my a$$ off here!!

Upside down, eh? That's hilarious!! A bit annoying, but it makes for great humour! :p

I wouldn't know off-hand how to fix it. There are so many DVD editing/burning apps out there that the only thing I can recommend is digging through the menus until you find something that looks relevant.

Other than that, you can try calling tech support! ;) Hahahaaa!

I'm laughing with Saph on this one! :D:D:D

I wonder what tech support would say...

Do you realise that you have upset my day? I was determined to be a grumpy Auld Git all day and you have spoiled this by making me laugh.

If you want to see whats under a Scotsmans kilt just ask him there is no need to make an upside down video to try and find out. :D
