no display

hi.
here is the scenario;
--no beeps
--no dispaly on the monitor
--cpu fan runs

i checked the vga card, its ok. i placed another vga card in the mobo still no beeps and no display.

i reseated the RAM module and still no display.

any help.

try checking that the power supply is connected properly and see if there are any aditonal power connections needed to go to the mobo.

checked all connection.
i reconnected everything still no display.
do u think the RAM is deffective.
no beeps also.

Take the RAM out and see if it beeps.

Hi.
Sorry for the late repy.
the system is an amd duron with 128mb sdram
i tested using a brand new asrock motherboard but still display. i used the int. vga card from the new mobo. put 256mb ddr but still no display. think the cpu is dead. what do u think.
