Hello!
http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

I have a Pentium 100MHz based machine that is running on a motherboard, that I have not been able to find any manual for.

The m/board has the following printed on the side of it:

"MB54VP - Ver 2.1"

Can anyone tell me where I can get info on this m/board???

YAHOO hits were only two - both of which were about upgrading the BIOS...

Ta!

Hello Mini-Me,

I think the information that you're looking for is contained in your BIOS string. There's a nice little utility for capturing on THIS (http://home.freeuk.com/tobs/download.html) site. Scroll down to Ctbios.zip.

Or, on boot-up at the very beginning, try hitting the Delete key to freeze the screen and you'll see the BIOS string. Copy the numbers down and try entering them into a GOOGLE (http://www.google.com) search.

It is the pause key to freeze the screen during the POST. Delete key will take you to BIOS setup. Also if there is a splash / Windows startup screen in front of the BIOS information the escape key will remove it.
