When I record videos onto my computer via Windows Movie Maker froma a Sony camcorder, every couple of minutes the video freezes for a split second. Toward the end of the tape this occurs more frequently. I always record the whole 2h tape at once.
My specs are Win XP Pro SP II, Pentium IV 2.66 Ghz and 1.5 RAM.
I use the WMA - video for local play (2.1) NTSC codec and a 2 hour tape takes up about 1.7 Gigs.
What is causing this problem ?
Will adding an additional Gig of memory solve it ?
Or is it that this occurs bec of the HD ( I have WD 120 Gigs, 7200 RPM) ?
