bois flash??? will it help???

i have 486dx 100mz w/1994 bios from award modular.
when choosing a year > 2000 in set up and i reboot, the year returns to 1994 but the day and month stay correct. when i choose a year < 1999 in set up and reboot, everything stays correct. will a bios flash solve the problem??? any other suggestions????

If your board actually has a flashable BIOS yes, if not many of the the manufcturers offered an overlay for down load....see if you can find the BIOS ID string and go to Wim's Bios (http://www.wimsbios.com/main.html) and see if you can find anything on it.
