I've used SanDisk's with 98SE ok but I bought another kind with 98 drivers and it does NOT work. I've gone online trying to find other drivers for it with no success. Put it in an XP pc and it works fine,,
I'm afraid you're up a creek without a paddle unless you find out what it is. The sales receipt may help if it exists.

You could try the generic drivers for Win98 from http://www.technical-assistance.co.uk/kb/usbmsd98.php but not guaranteed.

Yep, I think I'm SOL... I'm using Win98 1st edition and it appears that the OS does not support generic MSD's at all.
Most of the generic drivers I've found will not install on "my" version of Windows.
