Hello
I have done a format and clean install of Windows XP + SP2 on a neighbour's old (year 2000) Dell PC.
Everything is working however the video card drivers probably need updating but I have searched high and low on the internet and gone through hundreds of Voodoo drivers but this specific driver is never mentioned.
The card is a Voodoo III 3000 16MB. Could anyone help me please in locating new drivers for this card for XP or would the drivers that XP installs itself be sufficient.
Many thanks

Actually, I don't think that there ever was an 'official' XP driver for that card...

I believe that the Win2000 drivers were the latest ones for that card. Actually, I was involved with the 3500TV card at the time XP came out, and there is no driver for XP, so folks were able to get the Win2000 drivers to work with some tweaking.

If you do a Google search for it, you will find several 'third party' drivers for it...

Many thanks for this. I thought that the card might just be new enough to have drivers for XP but obviously not. I will do another google with fewer key words.
Thanks again

Thanks
I have already found a third party driver which 'supports' Win2000 from a further Google. I will wait and see what the neighbour reports when he uses the computer.
Thanks again
