I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro T2400CS. I know it is old, (486) but other than needing more space on the HD, it serves my purposes. It has only about 5 meg, but I would like at least twice that much. I use it for presentations, but would like to add a couple of programs. What can I do to "upgrade" other than get a new computer?

Hello Billdad and welcome to the forums,
Not sure what you mean by "It has only about 5 meg." If you mean that is all it has left, then there might be some things you can remove to make room, or run a Defrag utility to regain some lost space.
If you are saying that the HDD is only about 5 Mgb, I think you mean 540 Mgb.
If that is the case, you will probably be limited to that due to the technology of that machine. You could use the "External Storage" option if this machine has the connection capabilities (I.E. Zip drive, external HDD, ...).
Some more system specs (types of external connectors, OS,...) would help us to make better recommendations.
