The unit is a Dell XPS-T500. How do you figure out what it can be made into? I beleive it's a PIII. Can I bump it up to a 1Ghz? I've seen PIII 1Ghz chips.....I don't want to have to get everything from Dell....The unit works good, just getting greedy I guess... Thanks!

Hello Ken,

You need at a minimum to determine what motherboard you have?
Start by going to Dell's website.

Good luck,

It's a 100 MHZ mother Board and chipset,
Limit is 850Mhz for intel chip.

Thanks guys, I had gone to Dell's website, maybe not the right area, but under upgrades it would just tell me how much/type of ram and try to sell me a bigger HD and windows XP http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif Getting an 850 might be worth the $ after I max out the ram.....I'll have to do some more investigating of Dell's website to see what else they're not telling me http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Thanks again!!
