Upgrading HP Pentium III Processor

I would like to upgrade my HP Pentium III Processor and do not know what to do. I want the speed to be faster and the memory to be larger or more, since my family likes to play computer games. Can anybody advice on this?

Also, I bought a used joystick and would like to buy the wheel for computer games, what are these gadgets? I need some advice on these two subjects badly since I am naive in this matter.

First, realize that HP is proprietary. Sometimes you will have no problems, but you might. You should get the HP documentation for that system to know what other processors will work in that motherboard. Who knows, what's in it might be the fastest that can go in it. You can check their website too. First, you might try adding more memory. Or, a better video card could help. Check your options first, before spending unnecessary money. If you post back what the system is (or has), we'll try to give some suggestions.
