I hooked up bf 2142 the other day and when i play once ina while when im running or looking around the screen will go to ina random direction. it gets all choppy n what not, im just wonderin what could cause that

What are your system specs?

Is this the retain version or the Demo?

i have a nvidia 7800 but my ram is low im not to sure what it is, i have a freakin dell, its sux im workin on gettin some more mem for it, i think its the lack of ram thou, would that cause it

Yes, definetly. If you only have, say, 512MB then the system will constantly be going to the Hard Drive for data, rather than having it all loaded in RAM. Is the HDD light flashing constantly?

When I play it, there is no HDD activity whatsoever, and I have a gig of ram.

The demo has some issues... I tried it and it lagged a ton on my comp. But the full version runs fine. My signature has my specs, so if u are using the demo, it may be a software problem. Remember to update the drivers.

ok thanx, it might have been i forgot to secure my wireless internet and had a few ppl tapped into it

when i open the splash screen i select english and then bf2142 screen appears i choose install then it pauses and closes.i have tried many things and ways of opening it but nothing works this is driving me nuts.also i meet all of the system requirements.please someone help

I'm having this same problem, my view in the game is jumping around the screen in almost every server...

I have a Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 2 gigs of ram...

I dont understand what is going on here, so if you could please help me! =]

oo i think i no whats wrong i had this problem is it when you run fast and then turn then it will jump back??? if so its nothing to do with graphics/RAM/CPU its a punkbuster problem

download and run PUNKbuster manually (http://www.fileplanet.com/86984/80000/fileinfo/PunkBuster-v1.009-Client) select BF 2142 and update it then it should run like a dream ;)

also make sure none of it is disabled on MSconfig
