Hey everyone im new so hi....

i have recently brought a new computer but only have one monitor and was woundering how i could use a TV a my monitor as its cheaper plus i would be saving room by using my current TV. i have looked into VGA To Scart leads but found them to be very costly so was woundering if its possiable to get a VGA To Component Cable (Simular to this http://www.amazon.com/Atlona-High-quality-Component-Video-Breakout/dp/B000H0SUFK/sr=8-1/qid=1161629358/ref=sr_1_1/002-8509970-7799235?ie=UTF8&s=electronics But have relised it says "*** NOT TO BE USED WITH COMPUTER *** ") Please can anyone help me finding a cable that can make my TV be my monitor.

Unless you have a newer LCD TV, it is unlikely that you can effectively use your TV as a monitor... The resolution is so bad that you would quickly regret investing money in the connection...

You may want to look into a KVM switch which can allow you to use the same keyboard, mouse and video with 2 different computers... You could certainly just use the video option if you prefer...

Also, depending on where you live, you can often find old CRT monitors for $25 or so...
