Just a thought for those who repair and upgrade computers for a living. Now would be a good time to start buying up 128 pin DIMM memory in all flavours, while it is still cheap. My prediction is prices will go the same way as 72 pin EDO and PCI video cards. There are still alot of people wanting to hang on to their older computers and upgrade rather than buy new.

I'm thinking 20 bucks for 128MB of name brand RAM is a real deal.

I usually require any old components as my price for fixing someone's PC; so i get any old Mobo's, Modem's, etc..especially & including old memory ( SIMM'S, EDO , FPM, etc.. ). I've got several DIMMS now ( from 4-128 ) in varying speeds ( 66-133 ).

Since DDR is fast becoming the new standard ( 333 now and possibley as high as 1GHZ within the next few years ), i don't forsee any reason to buy any current SDRAM modules.

However, if you're still using an SDRAM system, or you're a PC business-then by all means jump on them!
