What is the better platform for a video card? 4x AGP or PCI. I know it is old but i am going to buy a video card and want to know the best slot and best card. Suggestions on cards also. Thanks for your help.

My system:
compaq 2.53ghz
512 pc2100 ram
120gb hd
1 AGP slot open
1 PCI slot open.
200 watt power supply
Intel 845G chipset

AGP without a doubt. Even 2x AGP would be better than PCI. ;)

GeForce 7600 GS. Best performing AGP vid card on a price/performance ratio. Likely to be the best budget AGP upgrade to ever grace the horizon. AGP is dead - take what you can get.
