a tid bit of Graphic Corruption and random Exits

My Compaq is behaveing strangely, it just will exit games like Diablo II and Backyard Hockey at random. Some graphic corruption is visible too, on Diablo II everything will be fine and at random times the color goes inverted, and i have to minimize it and restore it to fix that. When i boot up lines are sometimes in the backround, and in Backyard Hockey and others there are lines in the menus and it will freeze/exit at random and i dont know why.

Did you try updating the drivers on your current graphics card at all? Also, make sure you have the latest patch from Diablo II (if you don't already) I know THAT caused a ton of problems.

Let us know if you already tried doing what I mentioned.

no i havent checked the latest drivers. Win Me has upnp so i just used the drivers it used to set up my video. Ill download them from the Compaq website. And no, i dont think the patch is up to date, so i will upgrade to that also. Thanks

all drivers updated. It slows down a game called Pool Club, it tends to go very slow in that game. And in The Sims the sound will blank out even though i have the Sound Drivers installed. I will test Diablo II and Backyard Hockey later

I Read a thread here on what a power supply can really do to your system, so i decided to install my Maddog 450Watt over my stock Compaq 250Watt and Windows Me is preforming GREAT! but it must be something else because it still exits and blanks sound. HELP PLEASE!!!:(

WinME? Onboard 11MB graphics? How can you stand to play games on that thing!? :eek:
